Well, unlike some other centres, we include all your meals (Breakfast, lunches, dinners and snacks), so you won’t have to go to any extra expense during your holiday with us. We also include the following:
A great week for those who want to get out beyond the confines of the Solent and into bigger water, across the channel to the ever-stunning and vibrant Channel Islands.
Perfect for those longer passages that add a bit more adventure to your sailing, this week/weekend will get you out of the croweded Solent and into waters further afield. Be aware that this involves channel crossings and more offshore-orientated sailing, which may mean rougher weather and more challenging conditions. Please ensure that you have a valid Passport with at least six months left on it prior to departure and bring it with you!
You’ll get to visit marinas, ports and anchorages all over the beautiful Channel Islands. The planned Itinerary is subject to wind, tide and other weather conditions. Backup destinations are the west country, with ports such as Noss on Dart, Falmouth and further afield.
Along with some cracking sailing, you’ll get to visit places you didn’t visit on your RYA Competent Crew or Day Skipper course. The passages are longer and it’ll involve more quality sea-time, but it’s such a rewarding weeks sailing.
Courses run in a choice of two formats:
Starts from our Gosport marina base and visits various ports, marinas and anchorages in the Channel Islands.
The planned Itinerary is subject to weather conditions, and alternative destinations will be selected should weather on the day prove too challenging. Final choice of destinations is at our Skippers discretion.
What better a way to celebrate that new RYA Competent Crew or Day Skipper qualification than with a stunning 7-day cruise to the channel islands aboard one of our fleet yachts!
A great way to build extra mileage and enjoy some longer passages to locations further afield than the Solent, guided by one of our experienced and professional RYA qualified instructors.
You’ll get to see first hand why the south coast is the perfect place start your Channel Islands cruise.
With so many locations to choose from (weather dependant of course) you’ve got an incredible choice of destinations, along with some amazing sailing.
Stop off at Alderney and visit the legendary Divers Inn for that well deserved drink after crossing the channel when you arrive. See St Peters Port in Guernsey for incredible seafood and the relaxed atmosphere, or perhaps cosmopolitan Jersey, where the rich and famour play.
You’ll get to experience some incredible sailing, and longer passages as well as much more challenging sailing conditions aboard one of our 44′ fleet yachts. A great way to build experience and also have a great holiday without the expense!
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please ensure you have a valid Passport with at least six months left to run on it, and that you do bring it with you on the course. If you arrive without your passport you won’t be permitted to attend the course unless weather dictates we are staying in the UK. There will be NO exceptions to this rule and no refunds will be made, so make sure you have prepared accordingly!
All other paperwork for visiting the EU is done by us, so all you will need is your valid passport.
